I'm a lifestyle portrait photographer, a wife, a big sister, a daughter, a friend, and a follower of Christ. I love life and everything in it. Smiling and laughing are my favorite past-times, and I'm a glass-is-full kind of gal. I love to document life and love.
Growing up, my parents always encouraged me to discover and pursue my dreams. When I wanted to be a farmer, they gave me chickens. When I wanted to be a singer, they sent me to voice lessons. I have always had a love for anything creative, and when I graduated from high school in 2004 my family was more than supportive when I moved to Cleveland, TN to study theatre at Lee University. While there, not only did I learn about Shakespeare, Stanislavski, blocking techniques and character development but I learned that nothing can stand between you and your dreams unless you let it. Photography has always been a passion of mine, and when I was able to start my very own photography business--it was a dream come true!
Life is an adventure, and I plan on enjoying every single minute of it! If I could eat one kind of food every day {and it magically be good for me} it would be pizza with a glass of Dr. Pepper and Breyer's Rocky Road icecream for dessert. I love the changing seasons. When Summer comes, it's my favorite. When Autumn comes, it's my favorite and so on. My favorite places to be are: in my husbands arms, wherever family and friends are, the beach, in a hammock reading a good book. I am terrified of oppossums. Speaking of rodents of unusual size, you'll probably never want to watch The Princess Bride with me because I will quote every line. Each morning that starts with a kiss and a cup of coffee is a good one in my book. I love organization, and I love lists. Snail mail makes me happy. My favorite color changes every month. I love people. I always try to look on the bright side of things, and I strive to encourage others.
My passion as a photographer is to capture life's moments--the big, the small, the heart-felt, the simple, and the beautiful. Each photograph will be filled with personality and brimming with life!
